Filtered-Ink

The semester is almost over.  I'm going to do a little more work, shoot pictures of my gallery show to post, and then upload the "little more work" I've done.  Once I graduate, I should have more time to do fun and crazy things.  Also, blkraptor.com is up and running.  There's not much on it yet (except this blog is embedded into it) but it's a good start to grow from!

I know I said my updates will be few and far between before show, but while thinking about the generic beer from my 1000th post thingy, I had see if i could make the concept work.  So I did this.  Don't know if it's any better, but would you buy it? What if it had a QRcode on it that links to a news article about the heath benefits of beer?

Nothing new for today, and maybe scattered updates here and there.  Too much work for my gallery opening to upkeep this now.  Once everything is printed, mounted, and hung, i should be able to go back to daily updates.

So I got this Idea after working plenty of Easter seasons at a drugstore.  The main thing that bugged me were chocolate crosses (hit the QR Code for more).  Now I'm not a religious guy, but something about eating the iconography of any religion just seems disrespectful.  Alas though, our wonderful free markets proved that people are willing to pay money to do it.  What do you think?

You know, when I restarted this thing up I never thought people would actually come here.  It's weird watching that hit counter roll up.  So in celebration I hope you'll listen to some music (above), have a generic beer (below) and relax.  If I didn't say it yet, Thank You! *note: this was real product design for generic beer in the 80's*
